Welcome to To Die Is Gain. We are absolutely elated you’ve decided to follow us. You may be asking what do they mean by To Die Is Gain? What is so different about this women’s ministry?
Here at To Die Is Gain we are passionate about several things, but what we are most passionate about is a distinct focus on:
Truth and knowledge of Who God is,
Discipleship through God’s Word,
For The Gospel and Glory of the Lord Jesus Christ

What is considered reality? TRUTH. Where do we find the truth? In the Word of God.
The Greek word for truth in John 17:17 is aletheia (pronunciation) The literal meaning of this word is “REALITY, the manifested, unconcealed essence of a matter” At the foundation of truth, everything that ever was or ever will be, is the pure, unadulterated reality of truth.
What does God Himself say about His Word?
“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”
2 Timothy 3:16
“Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.”

You have subscribed to a website, and/or maybe you also have liked and followed us on social media, but the reality is you have joined a vision and a mission that was set in motion years ago. This vision is now coming to life, and you being here is no accident. We believe you are here by the Sovereign hand of God, but let’s stay focused. That’s for another time, another blog.
This ministry has come full circle in the weirdest time in the history of the church where the new ‘street’ for the Gospel of Jesus Christ is social media. Against our own will!
The platform was made evident by the circumstances, earlier in the year when the COVID-19 pandemic surfaced and spread throughout the world. We are promised in Romans 8:28 that God works all things together for those who are called according to his purpose. He has been Sovereign over it all –
Including COVID.
Including churches closing down.
Including women’s face to face ministry coming to a halt.
Including our own discipleship/being discipled occurring online, by way of the good ‘ole tele, and ZOOM.
We knew the furthering of the gospel must continue.
Modern day times are no different than 2,500 years ago when the most transformative news back then is still what it is today. What changes lives the most is The Gospel, The Good News! It is what has radically changed our lives, the trajectory of them and perhaps, yours too. Maybe you have found us, never having heard the word “gospel”, and now you are wondering what does the Gospel mean and how does it pertain to my life? In fact, if you’re like many, you may attend church week after week never hearing your minister, pastor, priest expound on the simple Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Those are great questions- we’re going to unpack that for you in the weeks and years to come. Until then what you can expect from To Die Is Gain are the following:
This ministry will go forth by way of weekly encouragement on social media, written blogs coming to your inbox, and eventually, we will roll out podcasts where guests will be interviewed and topics discussed, always through a Biblical worldview. Additionally, we will offer a place where you can engage with us by sharing prayer requests or asking the hard questions that might pertain to God; such as, where you are on your journey with God, and how to apply God’s Word to your own life.
Most importantly, we will be going through the Word of God alongside you giving tools and opportunity to grow deeper in the knowledge of the Word encountering truth (reality) for yourself.
Our prayer for you is the same as the Apostle Paul prayed for the church in Colossae.
“And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.”
Colossians 1:9-10
We want to ensure everyone is informed on where we stand doctrinally, as well as, in regards to women teaching men. We do not teach men, nor will we ever allow them to sit under our teaching. This is a women’s ministry, and any man who may have a question or concern will be redirected to a local Bible teaching church or Biblically sound resources.
We sit firmly under the authority of God Almighty, our El Shaddai, our Adonai, to which we resolve just as the Apostle Paul strove for – to keep a clear conscience toward both God and man. (Acts 24:16) We will sit firmly under the Word from Ephesians 5:22-23.
“Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.”
Therefore, we sit under the authority of our husbands and submit to their leadership in our homes. We strive to respect and honor their position as this kind of response is bankrupt in the church and in our society. One way this is best displayed is through acts of kindness and speaking respectfully to them. Moreover, it is imperative that our children see this in how we speak to one another, for they will emulate our behavior with their own husbands. Prior to To Die Is Gain, our ministry was and is to our husbands as wives, next to our children as we are still and will continue to persevere while discipling them.

In closing, we can testify that we have been incredibly blessed and have already lived an enjoyable life, never knowing what it is like to go without. Yet, there has been a death to ourselves, and there lies within us the intangible things that have, at times, eaten away at the abundant life Christ desires for those who follow Him. Join us as we take up our cross, die to any earthly gain attainable to man as we make Christ known.
